ESO – near Elden Root

Screenshot_20140831_180735Walking towards Elden Root, one can catch sight of this waterfall. This was near dusk. The setting sun and the overcast sky mingled with the runoffs from the waterfall make me feel like I can sense life in the air.

ESO – The Lightless Oubliette

Screenshot_20140827_012529Rescuing the last Ayleid king from the lightless oubliette was fun. I liked walking around in the dark, until the mouse cursor hovers over an enemy and kills immersion.

ESO – Auridon

Lens flare when facing the setting sun as I look at a ship I just set afire.

ESO – Bonesnap Ruins

Not a shot that’s about the scenery per se, but got this shot just as we were done with Bonesnap Ruins, a public dungeon in Stormhaven. The Argonian on the left is Jul’, the commander of Darkwatch Tavern. I’m playing Bites-His-Claws, Jul’s eggbrother.

ESO – The Sunken Road

In Bangkorai, there’s a quest inside this cavern that’s called <the sunken road> because it tunnels out to another area. It’s huge inside. And this skeleton is erected right on top of this mound. If he died that way, it must have been a heroic death. It’s like a last stand of sorts.

Long days, pleasant nights!

Hello! This is Beautiful Tamriel, a collection of screenshots from the Elder Scrolls games. It’s a lovely game. You should wander over.

ESO – ice and caves in Bleakrock Isle

Screenshot_20140826_024319The lighting at the far end made me want to turn back and take a shot before I left Bleakrock Isle for Bal Foyen. How much do I love the scenes in ESO?

ESO – Valenheart

Valenheart, inside Hectahame.

ESO – shipwreck

A shipwreck off the coast of Stormhaven, where a deadly crab resides.

ESO – Stormhaven

ESO has some of the most amazing loading screens, in my opinion. One of my favourites is this one on Stormhaven. The sun, peeking out of the cloud canopy, the touch of electricity in the air, the promise of rain. I can almost feel the wind.
